We are now offering special tour packages so you can get the best Fore Distillery experience!
THE INSIDE SCOOP
Fore Craft Distillery nestles in the shadow of the renowned 7th century Co. Westmeath Benedictine Abbey named Fore Abbey. Using local recipes inspired by these 7th century Benedictine monks, Fore Distillery produces Golden & White Irish Rum as well as Irish Poitín. Fore Distillery prides itself on using the finest of ingredients in small batch runs in order to ensure consistent quality and a character as individual as the storied land from which it originates.
Tours are currently available Thursdays & Fridays 10am to 4pm & Saturdays 10am to 5pm. On your tour you will get an exclusive inside “scoop” on how Fore Valley alcohols come to life. Discover their rich historic roots by Head Distiller & Founder Oliver Guirke! You will also get a sample tasting of Fore Valley Golden Rum, White Rum & Poitín. Tours are approximately 45 minutes long & afterwards you can treat yourself to breakfast, lunch, sweet treats or a coffee in Fore Distillery’s Barrel & Bean Café. You can also purchase Fore Valley alcohols & other souvenirs at the Distillery!

Basic Tours | €15 & Under
This package is a tour-only booking. The distillery tour will last approximately 45 minutes & includes a sample tasting of the three Fore Valley alcohols for over 18’s.

Lunch Package | €25 & Under
This package is the ideal day out! It includes the 45 minute tour, the sample alcohol tastings & your choice of lunch with tea, coffee or a drink from our Barrel & Bean Café menu!

Afternoon Tea | €40 PP
This luxurious package includes the 45 minute tour, the sample tastings & a tasty Afternoon Tea for two with a fine selection of sandwiches, cakes & scones with a choice of coffee or tea and an alcoholic drink of your choice in our beautiful Barrel & Bean Café overlooking Lough Glore!
Afternoon Tea & Tipple| €55 PP
This is the ultimate Fore Distillery package & includes the 45 minute tour, the sample tastings & a tasty Afternoon Tea for two with a fine selection of sandwiches, cakes & scones with a choice of coffee, tea or a drink in our beautiful Barrel & Bean Café overlooking Lough Glore! You will also get a 200ml Fore Valley alcohol of your choice to bring home!
